Shooting at the stealth house

We shot this week at this beautiful listed building in Stanmore.
It felt like a boat inside and was on stilts over a lake at the back, it was really my cup of cha. I spent time talking to the owner, who was actually going to knock it down 12 Years ago
and rebuid it, it got listed, and he cant change a thing, he's now trying to renovate the bottom floor...
Anyway, I was jealous, it was beautifully hand built in a scruffy kinda way, but felt cosy and had lots of nice features. He built the stairs using his own design to save space and money, very simple but effective little ideas all over the house, and who doesn't like a home where every switch has a sticker telling you what it was for...

Michael Jackson's Thriller....

Got to go into London yesterday and see Thriller Live! It was great but it looked like they were miming on the end song. There were about 6 Michael's. We met Mitchell and Wilson (Grandma's sister's sons.) behind the lion king theatre then we grabbed some lunch together. Next we sat down in our seats and watched the show..... We went to China Town for dinner it was lovely. Then I bought everyone ice creams at 10:00!!!!

I've written on average a post a day..that's enough I think.

2011 will be the year of the Family contributing more, We're gonna set up Nanny's Knit store as a side line, sell Gaga's Artwork and Books, and Eva's gonna start regularly posting her mini editor book reviews she does for Anorak Magazine, and last but not least, MummyCarla (now IPhone4' d up) is gonna become a regular contributor. as she charts the joys and struggles of a Mother of 5, I'll then turn that into a Short film..

anyway, here's the analytics, not exactly massive figures, but in Dec this year the blog had over a 1000 page views,

thats a big enough audience for The Happy Harris Blog for now...

Watching the footy the other night I suddenly wondered if anyone could now rent the squares in the post match backdrop (seen here behind the ex Liverpool manager)
The one that caught my eye was the 'visit the Maldives' one just to the left of his face, they only bought the one square, but how much did it cost?
Are certain squares more expensive than others?
Has tourism increased unusually in the Maldives?(beaches full of English football fans who booked their holidays without really knowing why?)
More digging needed on this, who knows you may see a special Christmas message from the Happy Harris' on Match of the day this time next year..
