This 'bit of advertising' (teaser) for Charlie Brookers new series of programmes on Channel 4 made my jaw drop when i saw it (in it's real context during an actual ad break on a television), and weeks after seeing it for the first time, I still cant rid myself of the feeling that 'I wish I had done that'
awesome music choice too

the blueprint for success...old vs new
Chris Espinosa, one of Apple's first employees, recently found a hand drawn sketch of the company's floor plan at 10260 Bandley Drive, also called "Bandley 1." The floor plan was sketched by Espinosa on January 30, 1978.
The building had four quadrants: Marketing/Admin, Engineering, Manufacturing, and a large empty space that we did not know what to do with when we moved in. That's why it's labeled "Tennis courts?" Needless to say that within two months it was our warehouse, and within six we had leased a building across the street and the one next door to expand into. "Advent" was not a religious sanctuary, it was the demo room with the $3,000 projection TV that we used for demos to Important People.
There are twenty names listed:
● Jobs, founder
● Mike (Markkula), VP of Marekting
● Gene (Carter) & Phil (Roybal), Sales department
● Mike (Scott) & Gary (Martin), CEO and Finance
● Sherry (Livingston), Cindy, & Eleanor, receptionists/secretaires
● Jim (Martindale), Manufacturing
● Dana (Redington), Marketing/Demo writer/programmer
● Bill (Fernandez), lab tech
● Dick & Cliff (Houston), hardware enigneers
● Clive (Twyman), industrial designer
● Wendell (Sanders) & Rod (Holt), analog engineers
● Randy (Wigginton), software engineer
● Woz
The proposal includes:
● An Office, Research and Development Building comprising approximately 2.8 million square feet;
● A 1,000 seat Corporate Auditorium;
● A Corporate Fitness Center;
● Research Facilities comprising approximately 300,000 square feet;
● A Central Plant; and
● Associated Parking.

World's most expensive Photograph
It's called "Rhein II" and was photographed by Andreas Gursky, and it sold on Tuesday night for$4.3 million at Christie's. That easily broke the previous record set by Cindy Sherman's "Untitled #96" which sold at a $3.89 million price point in May.

Boo!
We had an amazing Halloween surrounded by friends and family, and those who we love and couldn't be here still made the effort to celebrate with us in images... (Hilditch crew in Istanbul and Gardner Posse in New York. Loved Ottilie's Dumbo outfit- Congrats Jo on winning the fancy dress prize too- loved the Mummy!) It was like a scene from E.T round here with hundreds of kids out on the estate Trick or Treatin', there were smoke machines and actors in gardens as Grim Reapers pulling out all the stops to terrify the Harris girls, but all came back beaming with bucket fulls of booty, they all said that they had the best Halloween 'ever'. so no pressure on next year then.
