..These are the ingredients of a good start to the half term.

Minnie Had a wardrobe call for her new film, So we thought we'd make the most of it and grab a bit of culture along the way.

It was the perfect day to take in Anish Kapoor's 'Turning the world upside down' in Kensington Gardens.

The pictures truly do not do this installation justice. You have to go while its still in London and the Season's are changing. truly brilliant. Outdoor immersive fun. Tick.
Quickly on to the Peter Pan Playground in Hyde Park, then onto Gorgeous (the production co.) Where we bumped into Fiona (Godmother No.1) who is freelancing there, so we had a cuppa and a natter.

Minnnie had a great time trying on outfits for the Director, Chris Palmer. (a top dude) Tallulah got in on the act giving some help, having Chocolate Fingers attached to her hand (if only it was forever, eh Lula?)
there's a big clue, in the story of the film right there, but I'll leave that for another post after the filming is in the can.

Our wonderful friends Kurt & Sabille and their beautiful family
(Anouk, Vito, & David) sent us a wonderful little parcel full of
goodies for the girls..including a very exclusive little traditional
Munich dress for Cecily Harper. She will look posh..

Le Ballon Rouge

I'm beginning research on a new graphic identity for violet's
nursery...(as a trade off for their mafia like rates- we get free term
time in exchange for new prospectus/website/ )
and then today in soho I kept seeing these people everywhere..
..I started thinking about the film Up, and how it would be beautiful
to do it for real above the nursery. Even if only as a Pr stunt. For
the cost of the ballons, it would make a great spectacle,..
..That is, until the nursery suddely gets picked up in a gust of wind
and taken to south America...

This beautifully unnerving model of a house was, amazingly, Mike Doyle's first MOC (My Own Creation) since he built as a child. Super impressive! Expect to see a lot more great work out of this guy. (Also, puts me in a mood for Halloween!)

Fairy Godmother

Fresh from her Honeymoon, Kim (Lula's Godmother) came and took all the girls bowling and then for burgers down the beach at the funky new Diner. Of course they had a brilliant time, and Mummy and Daddy got to relax with the little ones.

Thanks you Fairy Godmother, you made our wish come true.

Today felt like being an art director

Lots of fun with film and animation companies today, cool stealth
bomber offices, food on tap, nice people to work with, we're working
on stop frame, line drawn and 3d animation all at the same time, on
the same day. I make that an art directional royal flush!
Lots of fun at work today. You have to celebrate these days, tommorow
we are recording vocals for our upcoming film, trying to convince
footballers to concentrate on football.

Watch this space, hopefully it's gonna be very funny.
